About the Role

As Junior Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering front-of-house service while supporting and inspiring our service team. Working closely with the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll help set the tone on the floor, mentor team members and ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, personalised experience that reflects the Brown Brothers brand.

This is a hands-on role for someone who leads by example, loves being part of service and is ready to grow their hospitality career in a respected, high-profile venue.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Being an active and visible leader during service
  • Setting the benchmark for customer service, professionalism and performance
  • Supporting staff training, coaching and development
  • Assisting with day-to-day restaurant operations and supervision
  • Creating memorable guest experiences through strong product knowledge and attention to detail
  • Working collaboratively with the Restaurant, Kitchen and Guest Services leadership teams
  • Ensuring smooth communication, accurate stock procedures and consistent service standards

Desired Skills and Experience

What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who:

  • Is friendly, confident and genuinely loves working with people
  • Has at least 2 years’ experience in wine and food service
  • Has experience coordinating or leading a front-of-house team in a busy, 7-day environment
  • Is self-motivated, proactive and takes initiative in a fast-paced setting
  • Is keen to learn, grow professionally and continually expand their knowledge of wine and hospitality
  • Has a strong interest in wine, wine styles and food
  • Communicates clearly and positively with guests and colleagues
  • Enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a supportive team culture
  • Brings energy, professionalism and a great sense of humour to work

You’ll also need

  • Current RSA
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office)
